In January of 2010 Vignon was selected with its partner ea consulting to resume its work with the Birmingham Water Works Board (BWWB) by providing purchasing, inventory, plant maintenance, and solution manager consultants to implement the first phase of their SAP solution. Vignon is also responsible for the overall project management and delivery of the planned solution. The initial go-live for the new systems is planned for January 2011. Vignon is also developing the Billing and Customer Service Solution that is scheduled to be implemented starting in 2nd quarter 2011.
In June of 2009 The Water Works Board in Birmingham, Alabama selected Vignon Corporation and its partner ea Consulting to plan the implementation of SAP to replace its legacy maintenance, customer information, billing, project systems, purchasing, inventory, and finance systems. Vignon reviewed existing processes and systems and provided cost, timeline, and resource estimates to implement the functionality required by the Board. During the assessment of the processes, systems and culture of the Water Works environment, Vignon was able to determine many of the root causes affecting the productivity and efficiency of the organization. Through focused interviews, careful observation, and review of existing documentation, Vignon was able to form a plan that, when implemented, would increase efficiency in operations, reduce cost, and build a solid foundation for future system and process enhancements. The planning phase of the project was completed in August of 2009 with the Phase 1 implementation planned for January of 2010.

They also schedule and maintain information regarding medical appointments and assessments. The company engaged Vignon to evaluate the current environmental, health, and safety processes and determine the level of fit within SAP's EH&S module. Vignon was asked to recommend a plan to move forward with an implementation if the level of fit was sufficient.
A small electric cooperative wanted to replace its aging SAP change management system. They engaged Vignon to replace its legacy incident management system with SAP's change request management system build into solution manager.
