Mr. Thomas Dale leads Vignon's Public Sector practice with twenty years combined experience in information technology and financial management for government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private industry. His expertise is in the areas of financial operations, internal controls, strategic planning, and financial management systems.
Before joining Vignon, Tom was a Director in Grant Thornton's Global Public Sector practice and the lead for financial management in the State, Local and Education markets. He has also held senior leadership positions at several other consulting firms and also spent twelve years in the Federal Government with the National Park Service in the Department of the Interior. His last Federal position was as the bureau's Finance Officer where he led a staff of 135 FTEs and was responsible for the accounting and reporting of annual appropriations in excess of $1.7 billion.
Mr. Dale holds a bachelor's degree in information and decision systems from Carnegie Mellon University and has attended post graduate programs at Georgetown University and Harvard Business School.
